The combat also looks strikingly similar, featuring a similar group of blue bars that represent selectable actions for the player. Even the monsters they are fighting are the same models as the original with updated textures. You can also see the White Knight fighting along side his party members, one of the exciting abilities found in White Knight Chronicles. Overall, White Knight Chronicles 2 is looking extremely similar to the original, possibly for the worse, but we can hope that in action the mechanics have been tuned into a smoother experience.
If anything though, these screenshots have left me more skeptical than I was before I saw them.
