RELATED: New World Showcases Incredible Musket Kills in PvP

A Reddit user by the name of Ansicone shared a post with a clip showing what a loadout system could look like in New World, allowing players to quickly swap between different pieces of gear based on the need and the situation. The video shows that players could create loadouts and name them, and drag them in bulk to their character’s armor slots, and this could work both on a few specific items or a full loadout that includes weapons. Selecting items in bulk and placing them within their own category would be incredibly useful for a plethora of reasons, such as ease of use and better inventory navigation.

The main use of loadouts would be to allow New World players to go mining if they feel like it or see a decent node nearby when they have been fighting enemies or opposing players with a combat set. Switching freely between sets designed for a specific purpose would be a very welcome addition to the game that’s hopefully planned for the future.

New World is available now on PC.
