Also, through the introduction of the Xbox Elite Controllers, fans have had another customization option as they can swap out the thumb sticks and add back paddles onto their accessory. The Xbox One Elite controller launched to great success back in 2015, leading Microsoft to introduce a new Xbox Elite 2 controller in 2021. Giving the new controller a sleeker, cleaner look, alongside some interesting internal features such as a secret RGB function made the Xbox Elite 2 controller a worthy successor to the 2015 accessory.

Now, it seems that Xbox may be looking to expand the range of Xbox Elite 2 controllers, as footage of a white version of the accessory has shown up online. Previously in March, some images leaked of a new Xbox Elite 2 controller, but this is the first time anyone has seen video evidence of the white design. The short video was posted online by YouTube user Nicholas Lugo, and was discovered by Twitter user Rebs Gaming. The video only runs for about 90 seconds, but that is enough time for fans to get a good look at the supposed new controller.
The first thing Lugo’s video displays is a rather official-looking box which shows off the design for the white version of the Xbox Elite 2 controller. Then, opening the box and removing the plastic wrap, Lugo unveils the new hardware, and again, it seems official. However, this video and the speculation around an Xbox Elite 2 white version must be taken with a pinch of salt, as nothing has been confirmed by Xbox at the time of writing.
However, it would make sense for a white version of the Xbox Elite 2 controller to be revealed soon. Back in 2018, Xbox announced a white version of the first Elite controller, which came with an Xbox Series X of the same color and Fallout 76. Fan response to Lugo’s video has been mostly positive, too, showing the demand for a white version of the Elite 2 controller. Hopefully, for the fans that want to add this piece of kit to their gaming hardware, Xbox will make an official announcement on it soon.
