Earlier this week Microsoft and Xbox unveiled the next batch of games coming to Xbox Games Pass in the second half of February which included the likes of Mass Effect Legendary Edition coming to the cloud, Madden NFL 22 and Super Mega Baseball 3 coming to console, and Total War: Warhammer 3, Roboquest (Game Preview), Galactic Civilizations 3, and Alice: Madness Returns all coming to PC. These games are all still on their way to the service at the time of writing.

However, one game was mysteriously pulled at the last minute from the February lineup: Lawn Mowing Simulator. The popular lawn mowing sim franchise was poised to be coming to the Xbox One following its recent addition to the Xbox Series X/S, but has seemingly been removed from the lineup without any indication as to why. Neither Microsoft nor the title’s publisher and developer, Curve Digital and Skyhook Games respectively, have commented on the removal.

In addition to these titles making their way to Xbox Game Pass, as is tradition, some games will be leaving the service this month as well. Five titles will be bowing out between February 28 and March 1; these include the likes of Killer Queen Black, Hypnospace Outlaw, Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones, Touhou Luna Nights and Titanfall. It is worth remembering that Xbox Game Pass members can receive a discount of 20% on these games before they are removed from the service.

Xbox Game Pass has been receiving a good amount of buzz recently as Cyberpunk 2077 was rumored to be slated for the streaming service prior to its PS5/Xbox Series X/S upgrade yesterday. Some eagle-eyed gamers had seen the Xbox Game Pass logo associated with the upgrade page for CD Projekt Red’s latest RPG, but unfortunately no such announcement was made. It is of course very possible that the title may make its way to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months.
